A MINI-FESTIVAL
The New Age Fundraiser celebrated it's forth fundraiser at a new venue at Project House in full festival mode!
The evening consisted of a four hour showcase with a live DJ, food, local pop-up stalls like a henna stand, crochet pieces, live art and more! In total showcasing and giving the stage to 21 artists!
This years showcase was a huge one especially for musicians and bands in Leeds! In total we had 21 artists from different backgrounds in the arts and creative world, from a dance duo, short theatre, comedy and poetry. This included live art created by a live action artists throughout the showcase, painting a piece inspired from almost every musician that performed!
The line-up consisted of multiple local Leeds artists, as well as local crew and staff for the day, with it's main focus on students, post graduates and young freelancers.
Every year, we try and support and re-invite past stalls to continue selling at the fundraiser, and this year we had many more new stalls also appear!
The purpose of having these stalls for NAF is to broaden the support to locals and other communities, and within itself builds a familiar creative space for the stalls and creatives that attend.
The NAF4 A Mini-Fest team consisted of students, and free-lance creatives.
